Why wouldn't Childress go? If he can't get that kind of money here at home, then go abroad for a few years and make money that will keep you settled for the rest of your life. Come back to the NBA and play for whomever you want and finish your career out without worrying about your next pay day.

i think it goes both ways, if he can get something out of the hawks by leveraging this deal then he wins, if he cant and they call his bluff, i think he wins again by signing with olmpiakos.
