He looksin the last pic.
As a lot of people know, many animals were brought from N.O. shelters here to San Antonio and need a home. LJ and I decided to adopt one. We haven't had a dog in a few years and really wanted one, so we figured this would be the best time.
We picked him out on Wednesday, but we couldn't bring him home until today. He had to get neutered
His name at the shelter was TANK, but we are thinking of changing it.

He's precious. I'm sure he's also very sad and very confused, but he's lucky to have gotten out of NOLA and to have found a new, loving home. He'll find happiness very soon and live a good life.

Good for you two. Congrats! The name Tank is good. He has the perfect color. He's half of the Spurs colors. How about naming him Wyclef? Like from the Refugees since he himself was a refugee.

Oooooo, poor guy! It's awesome of you to adopt him. The poor animals often get forgotten in the aftermath, since it's often hard enough to take care of all the people.

Fortunately for him, 70-80 dogs and cats were brought from a shelter in N.O. to the Bexar County Human Society on Tuesday night. Then they reduced the cost of adoption from $89 to $45 if you got one of the Hurricane Dogs (and that included spay/neuter if necessary).
