Hi, Evan.

You like dunks, huh?
Hypothetical...based on talent and where they are in their careers right now (ie, ignore money)...
Would you be mad if the Spurs traded Duncan for Howard???

Only player right now i would trade tim for is David Robinson
Considering how the West is changing I am still curious.
I'd be pissed, but mainly because I think Tim has earned the right to retire as a Spur. Nothing against Howard, I think the kid is a beast, but Tim has done far too much for this team for him to be traded. As far as I'm concerned Tim and trade are mutually exclusive.
I can't see how they could turn down Superman...I mean, really...it's Superman...
I would picket the AT&T Center.
No because Tim will turn it on during the playoffs like he always does. Sorry if he disappointed you by not turning it on at the All Star game.
Tim did win a allstar compe ion though
but he did need David too ;/
no way. It's freakin Tim Duncan man. I dont care if its for Michael Jordan reincarnated in the body of Wilt Chamberlain. no no no no no.
No.
I am really curious
People act like intangibles grow on trees.
But you're extending the Spurs future with such a trade.
They do, I have an intagible tree in my backyard
What is the future we're extending? Are we sacrificing one or two more les in order to be a long-term Playoff contender? Why do that?
I love watching Howard play and I think he has all of the talent in the world, but he hasn't done anything yet that shows me he's a WINNER like Duncan. His Basketball IQ still has a lot of room to grow.
I would be mad.

You make it seem like more les are a lock.
You just never know.
Maybe if he was mentored by a current Spurs organization member that had a game like him that has won rings.
David thought Tim how to be a champion, he can do the same for superman.
No you don't, but I'd prefer to take my chances with someone who has a proven track record.
The Spurs have Tim Duncan for 5 more postseasons. I'd rather stick with a proven championship formula than throw it away on promise.
This topic shouldn't even be in the realm of conventional conversation for Spurs fans.
