Since the Spurs will finish, oh lets say...with about 50 wins, and a first round playoff exit, and since most of us have stopped watching the Spurs, or are watching the Spurs and then getting on here and complaining, who are we picking to win the Finals? Dallas anyone? Let's hear everyone's pick for the Finals. I want to hear everyone's pick as of today, February 6, 2007.
Two days ago I was fine, but now since the dangerous and young Lakers, Rockets, and Jazz are riding our tail after they all won last night, and we're in danger of falling to 6th in the West with just 2 more losses, I guess our season is over.
Go Dallas and Phoenix, one a new dynasty of regular season success and the other one a dynasty of regular season success except against the Mavs, Spurs, Jazz, and Lakers!
After all, one of them has a western conference championship, we ought to look out, Josh Howard may actually call the timeout when he's supposed to! Or Jason Terry's frightening wild buzzer shot might go in this time!

After the preceding 4 years when the Spurs were compe ive, you have to be masochist to watch them in their current state of mostly hopeless decline.
So, I'm a fan and masochist, worried how much worse it will hurt before it gets better.
Rather than perenially duking it out for best NBA or WC record, the Spur will finish anywhere from 3rd to 6th WC seed.
If they finish 5th or 6th, they'll probably exit in first round.
3rd or 4th, they might scrape by into the 2nd round.
I can't see any way today's Spurs get past the Mavs or Suns in 2nd round.
