Signing Kidd should be priority #2 (Duncan being #1) whether they win the le or get swept by LA again. Kidd would ensure this team is never again known for stagnant and predictable offense.

It's hard to see the Spurs passing on this guy if he wants to join the team. Add the talent, then adjust. The Spurs are one of the last franchises who should be passing on great talent just because of a less than perfect "fit." Tim Duncan and Jason Kidd together for the next 6 seasons. Sold.

Is this the alternative version of the original?
That mug shot makes him a balla no doubt?
that file photo is awesome.
Looks like a Blazer.
actually he looks a lot like vin diesel.
Spurs already got a PG. Let's sign Kandi.
:vomitLet's sign Kandi.
lets hope the Pacers get punked in the first round and Jermaine O'Neal takes a serious look at the Spurs...
It depends on the playoffs. This will better answer the question of whether the Spurs already have the stars it needs (TD plus TP and Manu) or not. If TP and Manu shine in the playoffs, then you don't get a long-term MAX player and instead focus on high-quality role players, especially at SF and another bigman. If you think TP and Manu will "just" be good role players, then you need that second star. In that case, I would prefer Jermaine or Brand, though that means spending a lot of money in the frontcourt. Kidd would be my third choice.
But Kidd appears to be the star that wants to come. The Spurs probably don't want to do another Webber-like screwup. So if the playoffs show that TP and Manu are not going to the stars to put the Spurs over the top, and Kidd says "take me, I'm yours", then sign Kidd.
STOP THE MADNESS!!!!
:shock :shock :shock :shock
