CJ Wilson talking about how he signed with the Angels at 3am.

    http://espn.go.com/espnradio/losangeles/play?id=7627335

    Quick recap:
-Dipoto was at agents room at 3am with Wilson.
-Dipoto says "Dont mean to be blunt, but if there is a paper that walks in here, i would have to divert my attention to that bcause something is going on"
-When it walked in, Dipoto signed it.
-Cj checked Twitter and it said 'Angels trying to sign WIlson and Pujols'
-Cj says "hey did you just sign Pujols?! Is that what you just signed"
-Dipoto "I cant confirm, but that might be correct"
-CJ "if i sign with the angels, will you tell me whats going on?!"
-after signing, "Yes, we got Pujols and you".

    SMOOOOOOTHHHHH

    Cant wait for this season!!!!

Angels win the wildcard, but injuries and lack of chemistry squash any high hopes for Angel fan. Wilson will struggle to stay below 4.00 era, while Pujols will have a mediocre season (around 25 HR's , 100 rbi).

Anything can happen, but this seems unlikely. Now about half his starts will be in a ballpark that ranked 27th in runs scored and 25th in homeruns allowed last season, compared to pitching in the Rangers home ballpark that ranked 1st in the entire MLB in both categories. Wilson may be overrated by some and I'm sure there will be some adjustments and possible struggles he'll have to go through. But he's in a situation where his ERA will probably stay around the same with a better possibility of getting better, not worse.

Last year we gave up only 1-2 runs and we would still lose....

this year we score 7-8 runs and we still lose...

stupid hitting and pitching cant balance each other out.

Does the machine need new batteries?

The really sad part is that they've faced two AL Central teams that aren't expected to do much at all this year. It's not like they've had this start against really, really good teams.
