I haven't been able to get a replay of that "throat slash" yet. But it seems like Ron didn't even get elbowed in the throat. Kobe's arm was too low.
I heard on the radio they had gone over the play time and again and there was no hit to the throat.
So why was Artest "signaling an elbow to the throat" when he didn't even get hit there?
Was this just a major flop by Ron Ron so Kobe would get tossed? BTW, you can see Kobe's elbow at Ron's chest AND you can see Ron's elbow at Kobe's neck.
Maybe Ron was signalling that he had elbowed Kobe in the neck?

Open your eyes and look at the picture. Kobe's elbow is clearly NOT at Ron's neck while Ron's elbow is at Kobe's neck.
