On average, 7.9% of TV households in the San Antonio market have tuned in to see Tim Duncan & Co. each game, compared to 6.7% over the same time period last year.

    Good research!

    This proves once again that the Spurs are a very popular entertaining team.

    The fact is, the mass media and David Stern make a deliberate attempt to promote other, lesser teams than the Spurs.

    do you have the actual total numbers?

    it's no surprise to see the spurs near the top since they're the only "show" in town and that they are successful. same goes for cleveland, portland and utah, all of whom are "small" market teams.

    what is surprising are phoenix and detroit. do they still watch those trainwrecks?
