ROY was never in question regardless of what some media idiots would have you believe. Chet is a damn good player but in a redraft, where both are in, 30 GMs, Chet himself and Chet’s own mother would take Wemby over him.

A great part of the clip of THE Wemby block is Pop in the background yelling his head off, basically showing more energy than he has all season. Team needs aggro Pop to come back.
I think he was yelling at Tre to push the ball up the court, he doesn't initially react at all

Dave was always a big advocate for fellow Spurs. He was always the first to remind everyone that Tim was the best player in the world when they played together. I imagine he'll be as big of an advocate for Victor as well.
well, saw the game, and Chet was definitely having a lot of success on offense going one on one against Victor. Rather impressive. Victor didn't have the same opportunity since Chet didn't defend him regularly, but he had the highlight with the last three on the face and the outstanding block.
I remember discussing here about Chet's game. I find Holmgren amazing. He's very good, very well rounded. People were saying that he didn't have to create his shot, i believe that was DAF. I didn't agree and i disagree even more after this game. He sure created his own shot a lot of times, and against a defensive monster like Victor. To be honest, Victor has to impove in some area of his one on one defense but still, that was impressive from Holmgren.
Victor is probably the ROY. that's even clearer and clearer as the season progresses.
But i believe Holmgren will be a superstar in this league, not just the super role player some are depicting him.
Chet is a monster. We just happen to have godzilla

The one thing that's going to hurt Chet is that he'll always be tied to Shai. No matter what stats he puts up, most are going to say he's getting those numbers because of playing next to Shai, who takes a lot of pressure and eyes off of him. No matter what superstar the Spurs eventually put next to Wemby, the league will it's Wemby's team. I don't think Chet will every be viewed that way, even if he becomes a superstar.
chet = reminds me of ak47 with an offensive game...sure ak47 wasnt told to do more offensively, but he can still fill up the stat sheet doing other stuff required of him...
Chet is a beast but Wemby not from this planet
