Tre stays!
Free agent G Tre Jones has agreed to a two-year, $20 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs, his agent Kevin Bradbury of @LIFTSPORTSMNGMT tells ESPN.
Spurs helping Danny Green make 100M career earnings is legendary.

Tre Jones back on 20/2 to the Spurs per Woj. Good contract.
Yeah that was collusion. Lopez made that statement about helping a team to get Milwaukee to pony up. Someone uses the Spurs to do that every year.
Flexibility in two years.
still think its high on the APY side. think he's in the same tier as Jevon Carter. but having it only be a 2 year deal makes it more palatable
Jakob got that 4-year, $80 million that his reps have been talking about for like a year. I'll have to look back at the first time I put that exact contract in an article but it was a long time ago.
Congrats on Jakob for getting it. Well played
Solid deal for Tre tbh. Spurs will need a long term PG solution by the end of his contract.
Surprised that got solved quickly. Expected all parties to wait for an offer to be matched.
Jerami Grant at $32/year. LMAO
How much is left in the bag? 20 mil? Not enough for Reaves
I'd settle for a second point guard on the roster unless Sochan is gonna bring the ball up.
That’s that the 6(!!) first round picks they control between now and the end of Tre’s new deal are for.
I'm glad Tre realized he wasn't going to get much playing time elsewhere and just stay here and get paid reasonably , hopefully we find his replacement soon.
Does this put an end to austin reaves as our pg?!
2 years is good. By then Blake Wesley is hopefully better than him and we have a real starting PG. 10 million per year was the absolute maximum he should get though
Great deal for Tre and the Spurs
If Tre shoots confidently when open and runs the offense, he can carve out enough minutes to contribute, even if he isn't the full time starter.
