I hope ST has its together when this kid starts playing. Seems the drama queens here obsess over big offense and flashy nonsense. This kids game is going to be made up almost solely of intangibles until they can piece together a competent if not simplistic offensive game for him.
People always equate players who don’t shoot at a high level as not having an offensive game. The Boris Diaw comparisons are valid.

Dont get me wrong I''m perfectly comfortable with his skill set. From the beginning I questioned the claims of his "athleticism" but after looking at a few more of his videos I see a reasonable base set of offensive work. He's competent. I still don't think he's a great athlete but I like his game. He has the potential be an elite glue guy and possibly a 3rd or 4th option.

Tim Duncan was our defensive general. Now I'm not in any way saying he will be Timmy, but he does have the potential to have a defensive impact on that level. Duncan's defensive leadership help make the whole defense work. Players who weren't necessarily good defenders still gave better effort because and played better team defense because of Duncan's leadership. Will he lead like that? We will see. His toolbox is already loaded with all he needs from a defensive game standpoint. Hopefully he follows in the steps of the Big Fundamental and takes what he has and pours it into his teammates.
I've never seen anyone like Duncan when it comes to not just individual and help defense, but being the floor general on that end of the floor, especially with his longevity. I've heard plenty of people say he was the best in this regard since Bill Russell, and perhaps the best ever given Duncan's elevated level of compe ion.

I didn't watch a whole lot of non-Spurs games, though, and I certainly didn't watch any of Russell's games at the time, so I can't claim a very strong opinion here. But that ridiculous and long-lived effectiveness on defense, while being very good on offense for a good chunk of his career is what puts Duncan way up my list on all-time greats.

That and the fact I'm a huge Spurs homer.

For now he is a smooth talker and hasn’t made any mistakes on the basketball court, so naturally he’s our favorite player!

I don't know if that's Illuminati, but could be like John Dee pseudo-occult. At first I thought his forearm was a missile but it seems to be a whale.

I doubt this is his own Pinterest, but it has his name:

Ppl get dumbass tattoos all the time without meaning. Probably not that deep. I’m sure guys on this board have Chinese tattoos for “stength, power, determination” etc that in fact loosely translate to “I like boys.”

I know for sure someone on here has a Pamela Anderson barbwire tat on their bicep.

Not sure on that. We have a statue at my house that's African art that looks very similar.

Which is why I generically said "woman holding a child". Virgin Mary most likely, but maybe not.
Anyway, I really doubt there's much meaning behind it other than Sochan finding it aesthetically pleasing.

Sochan certainly comes over as focused, but also with a wider range of interests. Among those is art, and a touch of Salvador Dali in one of his tattoos of a melting clock. “To show time is precious,” he says. “I have a bunch; sacred geometry, Jesus and Mary right here like a figure my mum gave me. Tattoos are things that are unique from my past or with meaning from books, films and do entaries.”

He is extremely close to his mom, who is Polish, and the Poles are extremely Catholic. Could be something else, but I'd bet it's something along those lines.

If/when Sochan moves on to bigger and better things Dejounte can point to this tattoo as to why he was not a cultural fit.

Bruh, I’m not even sure you’ll be around here when that time comes since you promised you’d be out as a fan if things continue to not go your way.

Yes, it’s a Virgin Mary. The circle with the dots, over her head, represents her halo, with stars. It’s a typical symbolism in depictions of Mary. The rest, I don’t know, but triangles, and figures made up of triangles, are sometimes used to represent the holy trinity.
