This is the nitty gritty that the jury should take in. That the business records were falsified. But the case rises to the level of a felony because manipulation was carried out because Trump thought the reason for manipulation was to hide the whole event from public view specifically because he was trying to hide this from the public so his bid for the presidency in 2016 would not be thwarted. Merely falsely manipulating business records is a less serious act. The prosecutor is calling it a felony.
This is what I have read in things I personally trust. So Daniels is very important. If the prosecution thought she would hurt the case because she is a lying like Trump and cannot be trusted, then they probably would not put her on the stand.
