i was sleeping for 2 hours then i wake up. it is 6 am here. suddenly i thought "we should sign darko milicic, the human victory cigar". first i sad to myself "sleep again you re so stupid" then i begin thinking thinking thinking......... went on.

Yi Jianlian is probably better than Darko at this point
Yi is a much better shooter than Darko
i think the Spurs should consider the chinese super forward, why not:
guys, imagine a second line up like this:
Spliiter at center
Blair at power forward
Yi Jianlian at small forward (he can hit the three)
Neal (or Anderson) and Manu
see? that is something
the more i think about it, the more it makes sense

Wow I miss dead Spurstalk.
Darko Milicic and Kevin Love gave the Spurs bigs many problems last season. The games against the Wolves were real nailbiters - it seemed nearly as bad a matchup as with the Grizzlies.
Milicic would be the big body needed defensively. I don't know why people would prefer Yi when we want to get back to our defensive roots ...
I don't think it's such a bad idea. He was very solid last year on D. I like him if you aren't asking him to score consistently.

you re right. darko milicic could be the man who will add us defensive strenght. he didn't play bad last year.

Yay! Clumsy dork clumsy giant Euro! He might play more than than mengke bateer did. Honestly, I would definitely like to see darko joint the scrub bench. He does create problems for weak offenses like the Spurs.
Yeah it's a dumb thread, but having Darko would be awesome.
There's a lot to be said about Darko and Bonner... but I don't think either are on the down low.

Darko would be the defensive body needed, just dont count on him for points.
I always thought novak could replace bonner since their 3pt fg percentage was similar, novak just never got the minutes. And their d would be a wash, but novak is much cheaper. There are many teams that could use bonner's shooting.
