    I seem to recall Darko and Love giving the Spurs all kinds of problems last year. If he can play defense like that all the time, I'd take him on this team in a heartbeat.

    Not a bad idea. If the Kaman trade doesnt go through, I can stomach a Darko trade better than all these Caron, VC, Howard trade speculation. At least Darko can rebound and is actually not afraid to bang inside with the other bigs.

    The only problem with having Darko on the Spurs is that he only plays well AGAINST the Spurs.

    Pop historically likes players that rip it up against the Spurs. But that was back when we played decent defense, so who knows now.

    You would be correct. In that game last year in Minny, Darko was beasting the Spurs, on both ends of the court, as the starting center for the T-Pups. I remember it clearly because I was as surprised as anyone that he was able to have that much success. He looked like an all-star in that particular game.
