That 2010 Uruguay team was great, great coach too. Suárez was greatly missed in the semi-finals, he was probably the best center forward at that time, and Cavani still wasn’t the player he would become later. Still showing great fighting spirit, doing whatever it’s necessary to advance.

I think Brazil was superior in talent during the late 90’s and early 00’s. They won in ‘94 since Argentina had a lot of distractions with Maradona. In ‘02 they had the best players.
During the Messi era, in ‘06 they lost by penalties vs local Germany, not a bad showing. The ‘10 team was coached by Maradona, not sure why. In ‘14 they made it to the finals, good showing too. In ‘18 they made 3 goals to France the champions, and still lost the game by 3:4, the defenders were slow for MBappé, but overall decent showing.
Most teams don't even have one, tbh, we have two and two other finals... It's hard to win these things. One bad injury, a bad game, and you're out.

I can tell you that if Brazil does not win, Brazilian will root for anybody including Germany rather than Argentina tbh...
They have good defenders (Araujo, Giménez, Godín), good mid-fielders (Valverde, Betancour, Vecino) and forwards (Núńez, Cavani, Suárez), some are past their prime but overall it’s a good team. They could pass the group stage and surprise.
Valverde is a beast tbh
People talk a lot about Vini Jr, recently about Rodrygo, but Valverde went under the radar to become a top player with a lot of consistency. Either at right extreme or midfield. Reminds me of prime Kaká.
