Jackson wanted an outrageous amount of money in 03, The Spurs offered him more than Market Value, he declined deciding to see what he could get, he ended up getting less than the spurs offered. Jacksons agent screwed that one up not the Spurs.

    Can't say I disagree.

No disrespect to the Finley, Turkolgu and Jefferson, but I'd much would've rather had 9 years of Jack versus having all these other guys the Spurs have gone through at the swingman spot over the years.

The next season he proceeded to get a huge contract from Indiana so it worked.

Fegan is a though, biggest example is the Dwight Howard saga going on right now.

I wonder whose minutes he'll be taking..
RJ's minutes. James Anderson's minutes may go down and TD and TP may see reduce playing time if we have a big lead.

Wrong. Jack's agent wouldn't return phone calls. Had nothing to do with the Spurs.

No, SJax switched to Mark Stevens years ago. I don't think he ever outwardly said it but it was obvious that SJax regretted how Fegan handled the situation with the Spurs.

Speaking of Fegan, have the Spurs every signed one of his players? Can't think of one off the top of my head.

Not sure how up to date this is (and they aren't high profile players) but

    Bogans

    Gooden

Bogans switched to Fegan after he left the Spurs.

Yeah, Gooden is one. I remember that being part of the reason why everyone was shocked Gooden signed with the Spurs at the time. But it was also probably part of the reason why the Spurs didn't even try to sign Gooden after that short stint.

Whats the story with Fegan and the Spurs?

Does it begin with losing Jack or is he just a LA agent who only sees small market with Spurs?

"Late word from Spurs director of media relations Tom James that Stephen Jackson’s playing status for tonight’s game still is undetermined."

"James confirmed that Jackson has passed his physical and is with the team in Dallas."
