Another casual 24/10/3/1/5 statline in just 25 mpg. If he keeps up this type of per-minute production and he goes back to playing 30-32 mpg we’re going to see some absurd numbers. Not to mention that as a rookie he’s getting better each week just by virtue of experience.

Pop, Branham, and Sochan already sabotaged that for Victor

In the last 10 games, Victor had made 19 threes while attempting 48. That puts him at 39.6% from three on almost 5 attempts per game.

Now you can tell anyone bringing Chet up for ROTY to GTFO with their "efficiency" argument.

Victor Wembanyama with the 5th fastest triple double in NBA history.

Victor is the tallest player to ever record a triple double with assists as one of the legs.

Victor Wembanyama is the youngest player in Spurs history to record a triple-double.

I'm pretty sure Wemby is the tallest player to record a triple double. Period.

    Saw this on reddit:

same height Mark Eaton has had a 12 block trip dub in his rookie year as well.

Manute at 7'7" had a 15 block/19 reb/10 pts trip dub in his second year

Blocks are a lot harder to come by these days. Lot less shots in the paint and also the fact the man your gaurding may be out on the perimeter

I’m taking a moment this morning to reflect on how insanely good Wemby has already been less than halfway through his rookie year. The mixtape is gonna be sick!

I know most of us expected the team to also be better this year but the future is bright with VW

Do we have an exact date or rough estimate of when they’re reevaluating his ankle? I feel like Pop said “1-2 weeks” 1-2 weeks ago.

I think it was something generic like “several” weeks. His ankle is fine, BTW. A few games ago, when he appeared to be popping to catch a pass, then planted hard and cut to the hoop for a dunk? It was that plant foot ankle.

Yes, his ankle is fine. Pop is sandbagging in order to tank. He sabotages the team up to the point of plausible deniability and/or player revolt. The “point guard experiment” excuse ran out of juice, so now he has to play other cards. If he played Victor normal minutes, the team would win too many games.

One the Spurs get far enough into the season with a bad enough record that they feel secure about the likelihood of a high enough pick, Pop will suddenly become as intelligent as a casual fan and make normal decisions, causing the team to surge in March and April. This “improvement” will also serve as a source of optimism going forward, even though it is totally manufactured.

Victor Wembanyama's career-high stats after just 32 games in the NBA --

    PTS: 38, REB: 20, AST: 10, BLK: 8, STL: 6

Through just 32 games played in the NBA and at just 20 years old, Victor Wembanyama has already posted career-high stats in each category that the vast majority of players will never achieve in their entire NBA journeys.

    PTS: 38 vs. PHX - Nov. 2

    REB: 20 vs. CHI - Dec. 8

    AST: 10 vs. DET - Jan. 10

    BLK: 8 vs. MEM - Nov. 18

    STL: 6 vs. DEN - Nov. 26
