It may not be all doom and gloom for the New Zealand men's basketball team at the Athens Olympics.
It is being reported that Tall Blacks captain Pero Cameron will be invited to attend a training camp after the Olympics with the reigning NBA champions, the Detroit Pistons.
Cameron has apparently caught the eye of Detroit and USA coach Larry Brown.
The Tall Blacks meet Australia on Tuesday night in the playoff for ninth and tenth place.

It's about time some NBA team noticed the guy !!! Do you remember he made the Top 5 team in the world champs 2 years ago (best SF,PF in the world cup)
Another guy too look out for is Phil Jones, he is currently second in scoring in the olympics, and can rain down threes with ease....
so thats what he's doing' o'er dare. not that coaching has anything to do with the usa basketball team losing............nah.!
Perhaps Larry should spend more time coaching and less time scouting.
