Hahahahahhaha… not Baby Jokic!!!! I wanted him to get Eubanks type minutes after we trade Jak.

He would be a great tank operator.

Spurs got wind of Durant's trade request and wanted to close the deal as quickly as possible before Atlanta could throw everything at Brooklyn instead

Shame about Jock, I liked him. Would have preferred Keita's contract thrown in.

Why do people back out of deals with the Spurs around this time of year?

Jock when given mins was productive. Disappointed the spurs didnt give him another season before moving on. Also means we going to see the corpse of Zack Collins out there again praying he regains his form from years ago.

    All the best Jock.

I’ll never forget that one shot he took in that one game against, well, somebody. It was pretty cool though.

Imagine Landale was the main reason those protections ended up being worthless LOL

Landale going to be the new Scola.

The hope and excitement for Landale quickly dissipated once he recovered from his concussions and Covid protocols and he actually stepped foot on the court. Sad to see he wasn't another big man developmental success story who came to us and then wound up on the Detroit Pistons, but hopefully he ends up hanging around the league. And if nothing else, his girl friend was hot. Thank you, Jock.

    Not sure if already posted:

The Phoenix Suns traded for Australian center Jock Landale from the Atlanta Hawks, sources tell
@TheAthletic@Stadium. Landale averaged 4.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 54 games for the Spurs last season

Is he going to the Nets next or will he be a mainstay at Suns?

He looks like he’s in really good shape. Has scored double digits in all four preseason games this year. I think he’s a lock for the regular season rotation. Good for him.

Waiting for the takes that this is just like when the Spurs “inexcusably threw in” Danny in the Kawhi trade.

I think fans appreciate anyone who plays hard and is unassuming out there. Jock was a pretty cool dude. I was sad to see him go. Struck me as a good teammate and not a waste of a roster spot.

There is one game where he just got targeted in the pick and roll. After that the only thing that worked is the him at the 4 and zone defense. That weight loss might just buy him more time in the league.

I really liked Landale. He plays hard and got a lot of motor. It was too bad Spurs gmhad to throw him in for salary match

I‘m glad he plays for a real basketball team. He‘d help us win a game here and there and that’s the last thing we need
