I am Finley biggest critic, but when a player is playing this bad I my self as a team supporter feels for the guy. I hope you come around soon and find your stroke again. So at the next home game show your support for Finley, make him feel like a Spur.

The best thing to do to help Finley is to create gay threads. That will help him sink a jumper.

Yeah, I've been a critic also but it does hurt to see him play so poorly. I'm glad that Barry is getting more minutes for now but I fear that Finley will not deal well with a dimninished role. Sounds harsh but some tough love from Pop might snap him around. It usually works for Barry and they seem to be of similar temperament, but who really knows what will motivate him best?

Maybe he'll find his stroke on Jan. 1 - the date the old NBA ball makes its return.

Yeah, we could trade him to Miami and get back one of their many backup point guards (hite, quinn, etc.). Kill two birds with one stone.

It's not like he is just throwing bricks up. So many of those shots are in and out, and I even mentioned the other day that possibly it's the rotation he puts on the ball with the new material that is causing it to grab and come out.
Hopefully come Jan 1, Fin's shooting woes will be over.

Encourage him to play less minutes while he is in his slump.
Approach Pop and tell him if Pop will not reduce his minutes then he will refuse to steal minutes anymore.
Work out of it in garbage minutes and substitution time like all the rest of the bench Spurs had/have to do.

I suggest to watch Casino Roayle (last James Bond's movie) there's a toruture session at the end ... good practice to convince players. :wakeup
I invited him over to my house to practice on my hoop, but he hasn't responded yet. I guess he has all the help he needs, He just needs to focus and relax and the shots will fall ( Jan 1). I was gonna tell him that when he cane over, but...

When he's not looking someone should replace his usual coffee with Folgers' Hit a Friggin' Jumper Special Blend.
