On espn.com, there is a new article (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2282744) in regards to if the Pistons can win/should try to win 70 games this year. And towards the end are predictions by ESPN analysts on who will win the title this year. 8 pick Spurs and 4 pick Pistons. If I remember correctly before the season started, all of ESPN's analysts had chosen the Spurs to win it all this year. Has one quarter of a season swayed one quarter of their minds? Come on! Can no one have the guts to stick with their original picks nowadays?

I for one am glad that they're changing their tunes. It was creepy for all the Shaq/Kobe/LeBron loving ESPN morons to pick us in the first place. :idiot I like being under the radar and disrespected by the media. It fuels us to play harder instead of waiting for something to be handed to us. :bling

I might suggest that 40% of the season has changed 33.333% of their minds.

Before the season started, ALL but ONE (Marc Stein) of those ESPN basketball "experts" chose either Miami or Indiana to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA finals. So, not only are some changing their minds about who will win the title, almost ALL of them changed their mind about the Detroit Pistons entirely.

who cant blame them i thought the spurs would win more games than detroit at this point of the season...we have to admit pistons are really palying well...

there is also a big hype at the start of the season when spurs included NVE and finley on the line up w/c kinda made spurs seem unbeatable to most sports analysts and GMs even... but several factors came to play like injuries (manu), inconsistent plays, free throws...i didnt forsee that pistons will be this hungry...

but still spurs champs in 06!!!
