Bringing your pre-teen daughter into the men's room

I have seen this at least 3 times this season at the Spurs game.
Single fathers bring their pre-teen daughter into the men's room
instead of using one of the family restrooms. It's not nessary for a
little girl to be exposed to drunk guys hanging on to their junk or peeing
on the floor. The arena should have signs near the restroom entrance with
directions to the family restrooms or when the Spurs have their pre-game
messages on the Jumbotron they should show locations of them.

Have been to alot of games over the years and I have drank lots of beer and taken many a leak. have NEVER seen a female in the men's room of any age. If you see this I would consider it highly unusual and the little girl probably had to piss her pants and daddy just took her to the nearest men's room. I had my little girl by myself for quite a few years. When she was little, bathrooms were the hardest thing by far. I couldn't take her into the ladies' restroom, and I didn't want to drag her into men's rooms. Sometimes I would stand around until I saw some woman going into the restroom who looked like she would be sympathetic to the cause. And most were more than happy to help out.

But I avoided situations like the one this thread is about, for just that reason. Yeah, that meant that I didn't get to go do some of the things I wanted. That's what you do when you're a parent. I wouldn't drag my little girl into a men's room at a sports venue, any more than I would have drug her into a bar. I'm no prude, and I'm no boy scout, but that' just a bit ridiculous. I guess there are just a lot of people who see parenting differently.
