MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Grizzlies (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/mem/memphis-grizzlies) center Marc Gasol (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3206/marc-gasol) has a bone bruise in his right knee and is questionable for Friday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/sa/san-antonio-spurs).
The Grizzlies announced the injury update Thursday.
Gasol hurt his knee Wednesday night in a 105-96 loss at Houston, and he wound up tying his season-low with eight points. He had an MRI exam on Thursday.
He is leading the Grizzlies, scoring 19.4 points per game and averaging eight rebounds a game.
The Grizzlies have the second-best record in the NBA at 15-3.
