This was particularly enjoyable in light of the expert opinions I read here on how AJ's coaching career was over due to that Game 1 loss. Spurs fans are going to rue the day Avery Johnson became head coach of the Mavs. No longer can Don Nelson be counted on to limit their potential. Dallas was not a heavy favorite in that series. Again, the only way they could've been considered 'favorites' is owing to them holding home court. Standard practice in the NBA, go with the home team as a slight favorite when you have two evenly matched teams facing off.
