Cant believe Denver blew that lead at home. They had offensive consistency issues at key moments in this series when they should have been extending leads or at least maintaining their composure. A bit underwhelming in the end.
I hate the Mavs but now it is down to rooting for a Texas team.
Miller and the announcing crew were pretty downcast...they wanted MN., to compete and keep it close, but no way did they want them to come thru that door. They wanted Dallas & Denver. It was like somebody died, or, lost money.
These have been some of the most enjoyable playoffs in a long time. I’m kinda expecting a let down after the darling Knicks and champs lost.
The best narrative left is the rise of Ant. Could you imagine if he wins the Championship and then a Gold medal? He’s gonna be crowned by the league and...
Benrahma has been instrumental in Lyon jumping from relegation battle to clinching a Europa league spot.
That’s what happens when you play for a competent manager
:lol Moyes ball
Or, ending up at 4, once you know that you're in the top 4, is the worst possible outcome, and you're disappointed that this portion of the lottery went the worst way possible.
Darn, I was going to watch the game, but the thread title gave me a spoiler. Oh well. Tough loss for Jokic. I thought for sure they'd win game 7 at home. I didn't expect him to be bounced this early. He's a great player, but it kind of bothers me that guys like Giannis, and now the Joker get...
sure, if he gets into an all defensive team the next 10 seasons in a row.... At least Tim had to face great players at his position. Jokic faces like 2 per season.
Or did this game 7 just take a huge step backwards in terms of legacy for Joker?
Previously on Spurstalk.com, we discussed whether or not Greek Freak had reached "Early" Tim Dunkar level influence after his 2021 Championship and legit MVP level performance. Wow, that turned out to be a solid No...
No chance Holland falls past Portland at 7, that’s his floor I think. I also think Charlotte may take him at 6 but Portland is my bet. They need a big wing desperately.
I never really thought of the Lakers comparison with this Wolves team but I agree there are some similarities. Prime Gasol was much better than Towns but still Towns spaces the floor a bit better.
The 6-24 game 7 performance from Edward’s helps bring the similarities a bit closer 😂.
Bynum -...
Jokic was playing PG & C down the stretch. What was that? Murray let him down.
He drained atleast 3-3's that were game over if brick status. Nuggets had no guards down the stretch. That was puzzling. No screens to open players up?
They ran outta gas and Wolves just would - not - miss...
