Well, nobody really said Phil Jackson had much class. I'm thinking after he retires and no one really needs him anymore, he's not going to have many friends. I can just imagine the first and only time he's on TNT grousing about how much opposing coaches suck and other cities suck and players who used to play for him suck and Barkley and Kenny suck and how Ernie should have died from cancer. Phil's kind of an asshole.
one thing no one is talking about that i believe is really relevant is the fact that kobe has never really been in this position before. sure he won a ring in the past but we all know shaq was the commandor of that ship, how will kobe readjust his game plan with his teammates slowly vanishing away

I disagree there. Chuck is a blowhard and certainly not without his faults, but he does have a heart. I can't imagine Phil giving a rat's ass about the victims of Hurrican Katrina. Barkley did.
Besides that, there's something about class. Barkley never ran down opponents like Phil continually does.

Every series so far Phil has to push Gasol because he plays too soft inside. Its the truth. He said Gasol was playing like a "cat" in the Utah series during Game 4.
Wouldn't trade him for any other PF - especially with what they potentially can be next year with Bynum healthy.
But in the meantime, Phil is going to get on Gasol just like everyone else who screws up.
Well, that's kind of stupid. I'd take a warrior like Brand over a wimp like Gasol any day.
