Davis is the most under appreciated player of his generation and still as good or better than anyone but the clear top 5 players (Jokic, Embiid, Antetokounmpo, Doncic, Gilgeous-Alexander).
Almost always content (to a fault) to play a complementary role on offense, while never letting it affect the rest of his game, rarely campaigns or comes off as jealous of others, tries to play through pain and ups his game in the playoffs.
I don't hate on him, but he stopped chasing rings and is just playing out his career on a semi-compe ive, ball dominant guard big name roster. Unless he goes to a team with a legit center and a point guard who knows he's a point guard, he's going to be sharing shots with two other shooters playing out of position. He'd be good in San Antonio.

His talent isn't wasted, it's just not meant to be the hub of a championship offense. He's more finisher (Robinson, Garnett) than creator (Olajuwon, Duncan).
