This is an excellent ploy to throw hitters timing off especially the hitters who lift the forward leg and try to time the pitchers.

Good for Nestor though I think in the spirit of the game is overdoing it

Hader roughed up in a 1-run game, putting it to sleep

Braves held the lead early in the game off Astros miscues - wild pitch & hits batsman

Early on in the season Braves have the most sound Defensive unit. Key as young arms are called upon.

Tough sweep by the Astros. Had quality starting pitching but the Pen & defense unraveled. Ultimately 3 runs in 2 games at Home isn't good enough. What to do with Abreu.

Fans seem to be questioning the ability of Bagwell to keep this sustained run of success going. Big picture the franchise is clearly heading downward but I still believe this long time Winner will return to the Postseason. For the first time in a long time, not likely as Division Winner.

Here comes Verlander to the rescue?

AJ Preller made one of the better trades I've seen him make. Padres were already better than last year's team and now significantly improve. If they land a legit set-up man/closer to complement Suarez they can win the NL West tbh.

    Preller the prospect slayer

I liked the move too. Great BA hitter on team struggling with RISP

What a twist! 1st skid of the season. Olson & Acuna still in offseason mode.

Padres are winning games this season they'd have zero chance in last season (or the year before tbh). Their record doesn't tell the story of this team; its legit the most dangerous team they've had in a long time, and that's with Machado and Bogaerts being ass most of the way thus far. Arráez was such a huge pickup imo.
