Is the xbox360 online version better than the ps3 version? PS3 online seems to have lots of bugs and has tons of areas where it can be improved, plus Sony's general online and chatting support sucks.
Timmy: 87
Manu: 87
Tony: 86
Sjax: 78
Leonard: 76
Blair: 72
LA
Howard: 95
Bryant: 93
Gasol: 87
Nash: 87

Tim, Tony, Manu, all above Dirk.
I've also seen the light, I'm going with the XBox version.
This isn't clear representation of how bad Tony Parker will burn Steve Nash this year. Our advantage against LA is depth though.
So our best player is ranked below our 2nd and 3rd best players. Seems legit.
dpg, you referring to leonard amirite?
Tony should be: 90
Kawhi should be: 80
Gasol should be: 82
i suppose the rest are ok. they really shortchanged tp.... again
Leonard is a little underrated.
yeah, as a regular season player TP is most def rated higher than an 86...
Kwahi should be low 80's.
Gasol and Nash are not 87's.
Kawhi should he rated higher than Jax imho. Also Parker should be higher than Nash. I would agree 87 for Nash a couple years ago but now no.
Duncan and Ginobili are more well rounded, though, so they rank higher in more categories, which obviously boosts the overall rating. Guys who aren't as well rounded, like Parker, Nowitzki, etc., are never rated where you'd rank them if you were ranking the best players in the game. In fact, they're often overrated in some categories just to boost their overall rating to where it's close to where you'd rank them.
Then there's the question of whether Parker is definitively the Spurs best player. Advanced stats would tell you he not only isn't their best player, he's not even their second best player. I'm not saying I believe that, but I do believe that in the case of the Spurs and Celtics, you could make an argument for three players.
Tony should be at 88. Kawhi & Jax ratings should at least be swapped. Nash should be 82 overall & Gasol 84. cant do much more than laugh at kobes rating.
Exactly.
Don't read too much into player ratings. Player attributes in the game have more to do with the rating than the actual real life player.
Thanks. I was hoping for some more thoughts on this, as I will need to repurchase Xbox live. Hopefully they add some online features and stats.
Also, I agree that Tony and Kawhi should be ranked higher. Maybe they will up Kawhi as the season goes on if he shows some dominance.
Parker is the easiest guy to play against in NBA 2K. I always just back off of him and he never makes me pay.
What do you play on?
Yeah I love Timmy and Manu but they shouldnt be rated above TP based off of what happened last season. Tony should be at 90. Tim-87. Manu-86, 87 or so. Kawhi should AT LEAST be an 80. No way in is Kobe at 93. He should be at 89 or so, his time has passed. Gasol should be an 85, and Nash should be an 80-82.
Kobe getting more welfare. Nothing to see here.
he doesn't have the same shooting touch in the game :/
TP is a fkn scrub in games man, dude basically cant shoot for peanuts when ur using him...
Not surprised. Spurs aren't a video game team anyway; their sum is greater than the parts (and Pop's minutes management and team-focused basketball means that fantasy stats which play a role in game rankings are pointless).
tl;dr if the Spurs started stat-padding they'd be better in 2k
Don't forget to use B, B, B, A, Down, Down, Up, Left for Infinite Turbo
Y'all suck with TP then, he shoots lights out if you know his release. Ratings don't mean , if you're good on the sticks you'll win... I told D.Green that I use the Spurs for 2K & it ain't a problem for me..
anyone have 2k12 on xbox? lets play
