Go Lindsey!
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
San Antonio Spurs executive Dennis Lindsey is a strong candidate for the Utah Jazz GM job, league sources tell Y! Sports.
dont they have and like that kevin o connor fellow
Kevin O'Connor, the former Jazz GM who is leading the search, is off the same tree as Pop and RC (basically the Larry Brown tree). If Lindsey doesn't get this job, he's never going to get one, tbh.
It'd be a damn good gig for Lindsey. Solid organization and will have O'Connor there to help. If he gets it and wants to stay, it's as close as you can get to a lifetime GM job.

Spurs executive Dennis Lindsey met with Utah officials today about GM job and is the strong leader to be hired, league sources tell Y!
Looks like we lost another FO guy. Everyone's stealing our goods.
Lindsay leaving isn't a loss, it's a win.
Spurstalk's scapegoat...
Best case is that he's a complete non-en y and eminently replaceable.
Parker, Bonner & Pop are interviewing for the job?
One of many.
... still, the concept is rediculous. "oh look he worked in the Spurs F.O... he must be a mastermind executive"
Hey, it worked for Sam Presti...
@FakeCoachPop
No room for a man named Lindsey on my staff anyway. Have fun "Jazz hands"

#UtahJazz announce they're holding a press conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday that's "front-office related." Still no comment on Lindsey as GM.
ohpleaseohpleasohplease
In most cases yes, but the Spurs have the rep for pulling diamonds from dog , and they are using advanced metrics to evaluate players, something only a handful of teams are doing. The FO also has beaucoup contacts with the leagues/teams in Europe.
Hope he gets the job. Good luck to him.
Spurs are better at Moneyball than the Oakland A's.
http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursna...t-to-continue/Dennis Lindsey, who joined the Spurs in 2007 as assistant GM and most recently had vice-president added to his Spurs le, has interviewed for the Jazz GM job and reportedly is finalizing terms of an agreement that will put him in charge of Utah’s player personnel operations.

Utah has been behind in analytics/tracking/advanced #s. Wonder if/when hiring from Spurs tree will change that.
Lindsey will always been known to Spurs fans as the mastermind of the Scola trade. Unfair? Maybe. But sometimes you can't overcome bad first impressions.
That ing trade also included Vaginitas Spandex, and therefor, KBP.
