Wow, that was shocking to see that score on my phone.
Probably the best game I've ever seen.

No one can argue Robert was pretty bad in 3&4...even he admits it. But once he hit that first three tonight he seemed to get back into his rhythm. It was great to see him back in the game and doing his thang. When Duncan's not getting it done, Robert's the one who seems to take up the slack among the big guys, but he didn't in the past two games and that's why the Spurs got their butt's kicked. Now let's see our guys close this mother out in front of the home crowd on Tuesday!
He dissapeared in the 4th and OT, but for the first 3 quarters he kept the spurs in the game.
You didnt watch the game!!?!??!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!!??!??!?!?!?!!!!!?!?!?! ??!
I was down big time after gm 4, with it seeming like the spurs had no answer, and detroit having all the momentum, i felt similiar to TPark the poster, givin up virtually all hope like i'm sure some of the fans had felt after game 4.
Every team that has won the championship i'd like to believe for the most part has had that game where when its all over they look at each other go "how the did we win that one?". Either the calls dont go there way, or gimme shots are missed, the team is outplayed according to the stat sheet or during the game they just felt helpless with bad karma written all over them.....but then something magical happens.......a tough shot falls, a play that changes momentun, something like Elliot's memorial day miracle where SA was down virtually the entire game, or game 6 vs dallas in the WCF, or maybe to use other teams as examples, robert horry's 3 against sacramento in game 4 of the WCF, or whatever it may be, something happens during that one special game.
Ladies and Gentlemen I think we have had that game
AND IT'S GOOD!!!!
Doesn't it seem that everytime Horry makes a three...its from a pass by MANU?
Everyone seems so scared of Manu's driving...they always seem to converge on Manu leaving Horry open. Manu may not have had the best game in his life...but, he's the one getting HORRY open, and giving HORRY the ball.
stupidest thread le i have ever seen
After what he did to us in L.A. we should have no excuse to not believe his talent...he housed us once before, those who doubt need to kneel for forgiveness....AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
It has all the ingredients. Check this out.
The Setup: Game 5. The series hinges on this game. Many are picking the winner of this team to win the series. Both teams winning 2 in a row in blowout wins with the Spurs reeling in games 3 and 4 and needing desperately to win on the Pistons unbelievable home court.
The Game: It isn't going to be a blowout for the first time in the series. It turns into a dogfight for 4 quarters. NBA finals MVP Chaucney Billups playing like Jordan and Future HOFer Tim Duncan with a monster 26 points and 19 rebounds. And Robert Horry, one of the greatest clutch players in NBA history, saves Tim Duncan's meltdown/choke job at the line and at with the tip in in the 4th. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, each team trading blows in the 4th quarter and then into overtime. Each team refuses to quit. Then with 5.9 seconds left in OT, the legacy of Big Shot Rob grows with an uncontested 3 to take the lead. The Pistons try to win the game but Rip Hamilton's shove on Tony Parker and miss takes the air out of the building. Spurs win! Spurs win! Spurs win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You should of saw all the people sayin bout Horry and to me in the chat room. But all is good, Spurs Win
What a game!!!!!!!!!!!!
Horry the saver. Man i almost die watching the last 2 min.
Don't forget what Horry housed us in 95' and 2000 and 2002. He is an assasin...a hired gun if you will...
You are indeed a classy fan! Thanks!
Say hi to them for me...
I am 10.000 miles from there

Now THAT was a game! I am so pissed I'm going to miss Tuesday's game because of work. I feel a sniffle coming on..::cough,cough::
I know this has been discussed before, but give the man what he wants.
If he want to be called Big Shot Rob, so be it.
Anyone who calls him big shot Bob, is just a Big Jerk like Duncan!
yea. and no showers and no sex and no rubbin one out either til the spurs lock it up.
oh yea. i got 1k posts es.
Excellent job Horry, good assist Manu
Congratulations to all San Antonio people, as you've got the most precious Father's day gift from a clutch player, whose heroic today will certainly be sung whenever it comes to NBA Final classics. You must be very proud to have such a good basketball team.
They park at Peidmont Hawthorne North on Sandau across from the Pilot shop. You will see all the cars parked on the ramp.
Thanks for that information....I asked earlier and got ridiculed. Count me in!
I'm there
