Parker, Timmy, Manu and RJ out tonight, as I read earlier. All of them are back in San Antonio.
Also, I really wish Tiago could actually play tonight.

Interesting sight at shootaround: Injured Splitter taking one-legged jumpers per Chip Engelland. For guy who can't shoot, Tiago looked OK.

Filed to the blog: Parker has ankle tweak http://bit.ly/a3qCVo ... and a hat tip to @aamcneill48MoH for (sort of) noticing it first.
Kind of disheartening that Parker is already feeling bad.

Tonight more than ever about #spurs youngsters vying for final roster spots. Pop: "I really owe them a special responsibility to see them."
this game on t.v. or will it be streamed?
It's streamed. Spurs.com says 1200 WOAI. I'll be watching on atdhe.net.

Its a tweeked ankle. That injury will happen to him 10 times this upcoming season just like every other basketball player. If it was a regular season game than he would be going and you wouldn't hear anything about it.

Preseason Game 5: Cavs vs. Spurs, Pregame Notes
by Jason Lloyd
Ohio.com
Cavs vs. Spurs, 7:30 p.m., at Petersen Events Center, Univ. of Pittsburgh
Pregame notes:
* The Spurs are using almost all backups tonight. Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Richard Jefferson were given the day off and aren’t even with the team. All of them flew directly to San Antonio following the Spurs’ game in Mexico City earlier this week.
* This will count as a home game for the Cavs, but expect to see plenty of Spurs fans. Tonight is a homecoming for DeJuan Blair, who played two seasons at Pitt before leaving for the NBA.
* Neither Mo Williams nor Anderson Varejao will play tonight, although both will make the trip to Pittsburgh. Williams is still bothered by the groin injury and Varejao’s ankle isn’t quite 100 percent.
* Byron Scott isn’t sure of his starting lineup yet. He said he has the two hour bus ride over to Pittsburgh to think it over.
* The Cavs went through another strenuous practice this morning. They won’t have long to recover. They’ll shower, eat and board the bus for the game.
So the starting lineup will look like this:
PG: George Hill
SG: James Anderson
SF: Bobby Simmons
PF: DeJuan Blair
C: Matt Bonner
My gosh, this is worst than a Summer League game
At least we'll be able to get an extended look at all the 'bubble' guys. I'll be watching Bobby Simmons' footwork closely.
Soo...LeBron-less Cavs, after a practice, with no starting lineup set in stone, without their two best players. Spurs without any of their big three. This one's gonna be a laugher.
Well, at least we won't have to see RJ brick seven more times.
I'm interested in seeing if Jerrells can put together another solid game. Hopefully Gee gets some run tonight as well. Blair, will have another big game since he's playing in his hometown.
I hope there is a feed out there for this game.
So who's the "star" for Cavs? JJ Hickson? that's crazy!
Mo & Jamison are the stars. JJ Hickson is going to get a lot of minutes, so he should put up good numbers. He was always active and relatively productive, so the uptick in minutes all year should see his stats also increase.
Sessions will be a good test for our guys. Despite being kind of buried after getting a decent contract, he is still a pretty damn productive player overall.
I really hope Gee/Anderson get a ton of burn.

With four starters in SA, tonight's lineup in Pitt: Hill, Neal, Anderson, McDyess, Blair #spurs
Anderson at the SF spot again
