Wasn't he gonna be part of the Wilson Chandler trade?

Story out of Slovenia is that Curtis Jerrells will sign with Partizan Belgrade. He's currently signed with the Spurs, but that needn't last.

well too crowded a back court.
anyway best of luck!
There's a decent chance the contract is only if he gets cut by the Spurs, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Jerrells isn't quite an NBA player yet. Making decent strides but a year in Europe would be best for his development.
Given the compe ion for those spots, it might be a sensible option. Hope it is not true, I wanted to see which player on the cusp delivered.
FYI Belgrade is in Serbia-- so he would be headed to Serbia.
Where will the Spurs find their 4th point guard now?
...there will be new names subs uted by tomm. morning..
Meh. Just like Marcus Williams, he had no chance of making this team. Best of luck to him though!
Austin has helped Euro teams more than SA...CIA pop maybe? SA gets its European draft picks developed there and Austin develops for European teams..
Yeah, I read and re-posted the tweet without completely processing it. Forgive my stupidity.
Jerrels hasn't done in this league... he's nobody. So, who really cares?
Would be great for him. Increased comp compared to Austin. Good luck and Cant wait to see his development next summer in the Summer League.
we could even see it as an indication that the trade is in place and he knows that he will be waived by the Knicks immediately. so his agent is already negotiating a contract in Europe.
The rumor of Partizan being interested in Jerrells popped up one month ago (check the Think Tank). If it happens, it would be a great opportunity for Jerrells.
And if Spurs do a trade for Wilson Chandler, I think it will be with McDyess and not with Temple+Jerrells+Gee. I would hate to see McDyess left, he is such a great guy to have on and off the court, but the financial aspect is too big to pass.
hm. Dice would make some sense for the Knicks, their frontcourt is thin and Mozgov is unproven. a veteran wouldn't hurt.
but do the Knicks have enough cap space left to absorb the higher salary from Dice? or wouldn't such a trade require a third team or another player from the Knicks?
gl curtis step your game up man
Trade Dice? Then our front court would be Duncan, Splitter, Blair, Bonner , and either Chandler/Jefferson for small ball. I don't know, but I like our depth already, and giving up Dice would not only hurt, but guarantee Bonner some major minutes.
Belgrade is in Serbia , impossible to confuse with Slovenia because it's a quite big city. Party has a great school of bball, but I think the Spurs signed him shortly after their offer.
Yes, I know this, as I acknowledged up above. Sham is either referring to the Slovenian press, or he made an honest slip of the fingers; I'm sure he knows the difference as well.
As for myself, blame it on the haste with which I posted it, and the fact that I had just worked for 10.5 hours.

Don't know why I said Slovenia re: Curtis Jerrells. It's Serbia, obviously.

Good deal overall. Will give him a chance to work on his game, and I think his minutes will be better spent with other candidates.
Is he an NBA player now?
