WC forgot the golden rule: never form an opinion until RUSH forms your opinion. Pay no attention, WC went off script for a second, but he's all better now.
I don't like the way things are done myself, but you don't pass bad legislation because it has some good in it.

Essentially, yes. But I already addressed that upstream. Were you following the conversation in detail or did you just skim through?
You seem to have missed my point about new restrictions on foreign financiers of US elections.
Are you for those restrictions or against them, WC?

See, and I thought he was following a script.
What makes you think he's all better now?
You ain't old enough to be his daddy, Oh Gee!!.
You would never accept such a lame appeal to authority from your ST correspondent. Why do you offer it to us?
Idiot. That's all your statement prove, that you are a idiot.
It depends on the integrity of the source. You are right though. I have very little acceptance of most journalists integrity. I do trust Lars Larson's integrity, but I cannot expect the rest of you to.

Lars Larson=stud.
The rest of us=crud.
(Message received.)
idiot.
No, I often disagree with the man, but his integrity is impeccable.
You trust him. Cool.
His sterling attributes of character might not be so persuasive to others. This gap, argument and persuasion should fill.
Are you allergic to them, or do you really rest content with such a pathetic appeal to authority?
"Lars Larson said it, so you believe it."
Yes, that's about it. he is wrong sometimes about what he states as fact, but that is very rare.

I agree. that's why I said "It depends on the integrity of the source. You are right though. I have very little acceptance of most journalists integrity. I do trust Lars Larson's integrity, but I cannot expect the rest of you to." a few posts back.
Huh...
You lost me there.
Do you submit readily to any authority when it is wrong?
In my area, Lars is on KXL from noon to 4 PM my time. I think that's 10 AM to 2 PM in Texas.
here is a live audio link for KXL:
If it doesn't work, go to KXL News radio and click "listen live."
Right now, on Midnight Radio, they are talking about Arizona illegal immigration.
I am not a robot, so I guess my answer would be no.
My question to you is, how can you think you can get away with being such a royal pain in the ass to others, when you are so con uously lenient and forgiving with yourself?
How would you know? You already admitted you ain't in the habit of double-checking.Yes, that's about it. he is wrong sometimes about what he states as fact, but that is very rare.
If you were telling the truth about that, how would you ever notice a mistake in the first place?
What am I forgiving about in myself? Didn't I explain that well enough?
Do you mean my trusting Lars as a source, but not trusting the source that others trust?
Trust is earned, and I do understand others don't trust the same people I do.
Listening to Midnight radio by chance?
That's not true. You are right that I didn't double check Lar's points when i made the original post, but i generally do check first.
Why is it an all or nothing with you? isn't there room for variations? Do you always think inside the box?
No chance to what?
I am not in threaded mode. This has no relevance.
You generally throw just stuff on the wall, WC. You are MSU guy.
Face it. Embrace it.
If that's what you want to believe. OK... Not worth proving you wrong, and then debates would lose the fun factor.
Please get in threaded mode. How else do you plan to keep up with the conversation? Please blame your ty preferences, not me.
