Yeah, he's gonna be awesome. I like his style.

Damn, Blair had a BA game tonight, even though I only saw half the game. I saw the Kapono block and the pump layup, but my girl said He was crazy good in the first half.
From what I saw, he defended well, and his fouls were manly, iirc he knocked Greene
to the ground when he was cutting for a layup. And I also saw 3 or 4 solid boards. Btw, did his attempted putback dunk off Manu's miss count as a O rebound?
haha that was me. Very cool.
One of his better games.Hope he continues the improvement
Does anyone have his stats so far in the season adjusted for 48 minutes after this game?
Many rebounds, many points, few minutes.
Great game to build off of. Every time he made a mistake he seemed determine on the ensuing play to play harder. Don't expect to see him much for the Boston game but hope he continues to improve.
That will be a Duncan/Theo/Dyess rotation for sure, with sprinkles of Red Rocket. If one or more of them up, The Beast will get his shot.
Wish I could say the same about Hairston if one of Manu/Mason/RJ/Fin messed up.
Thank go I was wrong about Blair, but I wish Theo hadn't been passed on.
And for the game (which I only saw snippets of due to being at work), how was Blair's D? I somehow caught most of his offensive highlights, like the putback (in the Spurs basket), and some of his up crazy layups, but was his D mediocre, astonishing, astonishingly awful?
Also, on a hypothetical note, how awesome is it that in the biggest game so far of his rookie season, he was the best big on either team? And when the other bigs are Duncan, Garnett, Perkins, Rasheed, and McDyess, that's saying something for an undersized rookie with no ACLs.

After watching the game last night and seeing him get some blocks in other games(the one on dirk comes to mind first), im starting to wonder if dejuan has the potential to average maybe 1-2 blocks a game. Maybe not this season, but eventually down the line?
Blair is the goods.
Can someone post the new rookie ranking for Blair? thanks
yes! I didnt want to have to start a thread on this...
Djb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Called him a bust since day 1.

You just bumped a 7 year old thread to pat yourself on the back?
You've got some serious mommy issues going on.
He wasn't a bust. He was productive especially for a 2nd rounder.
Agreed. It's hard to be a bust at pick 37. Like Bonner he was asked to do too much. Great as a 4th big, average as a 3rd, but out of his depth as a starter.
I'd say he had a pretty good career for a guy who didn't have ing ACL's in either of his knees.
