Politicians make promises. Most of those promises are unrealistic. The public is stupid enough to believe them. Breaking promises isn't something unique to Obama.
I read somewhere that running for president, BHO made something like 200 promises. I wonder how many of them are unattainable to reach already, in his first year. Like
1. Obama's stimulus bill will create or save 3.5 million jobs by 2011. Including 600000 jobs by the end of this summer.
Politicians make promises. Most of those promises are unrealistic. The public is stupid enough to believe them. Breaking promises isn't something unique to Obama.
Jobs *created or saved* probably can't be measured with reasonable accuracy anyway.
You say all sorts of things to get elected. And if you win, you find yourself not infrequently pissing backwards on your own supporters.
That is part of the low ebb of 43's popularity. He pissed backward on the people who thought he was Moses. To say nothing of the people who for some reason assumed George W. Bush was actually conservative.
HAHAHAHAHAHA. Bush response to an Obama question. Never gets old.
Can we focus on BHO. I realize he is a politician and they all do that. I just think Obama is the president now. He made promises. Alot of them were to buy votes. Bush had 9-11. Obama hasn't had that type of thing.
Why does every time someone brings up Obama, Bush has to be brought up? Why do people have to talk like there are teams.
If you had more than one brain cell you'd realize the video is just an example of what ALL presidents have done to get elected. But you were probably held out of school by a paranoid parent who was afraid the sitting president was gonna indoctrinate you.
Read the rest of my post instead of being fixated on the video I posted. Oh and Iraq had no role in 9/11.
Go ahead. Focus on him. Your count of promises he won't keep stands at one so far.
I did read it and I was refering to you saying promise breaking was not unique of Obama. What is unique of BHO is he is the president now. Don't be so sensitive. It wasn't just aimed at you. I've noticed a few commies on spurstalk and jsut incase they were to join in.
Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9-11 technically. But the idea that he was a security threat to america ( he said in 1979 , and reaffirmed it in the 90's that any terrorist could train in iraq as long as they targeted israelis and americans. He also gave huge amounts of money to suicide bombers) I agreed in not nation building pre 9-11. Now I don't know. Kind of like all the isolationists in pre ww2. I believe there is some middle that keeps us safe.
What's unique is that people care about like this now that Obama is in office.
calling people commies will stoke the fires of discussion
Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9-11 literally.Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9-11 technically.
Were there terrorists training in Iraq? But the idea that he was a security threat to america ( he said in 1979 , and reaffirmed it in the 90's that any terrorist could train in iraq as long as they targeted israelis and americans. He also gave huge amounts of money to suicide bombers)
So because of an attack that stemmed from people not approving of us being in foreign nations, let's solve that problem by invading foreign nations. Makes sense.I agreed in not nation building pre 9-11. Now I don't know. Kind of like all the isolationists in pre ww2. I believe there is some middle that keeps us safe.
Here we go. More Bush,9/11 and Iraq....No you did not bring Bush up by coincidence.
You're right. It wasn't coincidence. See if you can figure out why on earth I would've chosen a video of Bush. Work your brain muscle.
No they are self-proclaimed commies.
Mogadishu did not have anything to do with 9-11 technically, but really when clinton move the troops out because they got hit, it motivated OBL. OBL said he knew Al Qeda would prevail because US had not heart. That is what I mean by Iraq didn't technically, that we know of.
Do you think there were not terrorists training from 1979 to 2001 who helped, trained, or financed any of the terrorist groups at war with us b4 9-11? USS Cole? Embassy bombings? WTC ?
Don't belittle my opinion because you don't understand it. That is rule #1 in Liberal talk but we do not need it here. I did not completely explain my stand on nation building. I don't need to. I vote for the people I believe have the best grasp of the problem facing america. they come up with the ideas. I think it makes less sense that because people attack us and we d o nothing that the answer is to do more of nothing.
I dunno. do you have proof there were?
I understand it. I just think it's a little naive.Don't belittle my opinion because you don't understand it.
What was the purpose of this thread exactly? To try and come up with every single promise Obama has broken? Talk about being butthurt.
dunno why you bring up bush
but the time when he was president, there was no other better suiters during his stint as president to be replace, thats how lame it was and ty candidates from all parties....
its like you goto vote on party policies, but that party has a fkn leader so you dont vote for him, but look at the next hot person and vote for them....
Yes. That is exactly what this thread was. Nothing so terrible as a list of promises that bho made but after 10 months, if it took him the rest of his presidency, would not be able to make. What is my view that you believe is naive?
