Name: Reggie Miller
Height: 6-7
Weight: 195 lbs.
Pos: SG
Age: 37
Born: August 24, 1965, Riverside, California
College: UCLA
Reggie Miller is a free agent in the summer of 2003. He has played 16 years with the Pacers.
Miller has to be one of the top three clutchest players in the game. In the fourth, you want Reggie taking a shot. Even at his age, he can still win games by himself when he gets hot.
This would be a very Pop-like signing. Pop likes veterans who want a ring and Miller fits into that criteria. He'd probably demand a decent amount of money, but he'd be a good piece to the puzzle for a couple seasons.

main question, where would he fit in the rotation?
This year has seen a big dropoff for Reggie. He is down to 12.8 PPG. No thanks unless we are talking about min salary or at least closer to min salary than MLE salary.
He's getting up there in age, but it will probably still cost around the MLE to get him. I'm sure a lot of playoff contenders would pay that money to get him.
I think he'd be worth it in the short-term, but only as a backup backup plan2
Reggie is my favorite. We even have a poster of him hanging in our house (to timvp's dismay).
But the Spurs shouldn't spend money on him. If they could get him for $2M, that's one thing. But he's not worth more than that to the Spurs.
Am I the only one who thinks that Reggie would be awesome on the Spurs?!? Yeah he's getting old but he'd be deadly playing with Duncan. Wow:shock
I would want him too Big Syke. But only for a cheap price.
Way too old, and I can't see the Spurs changing their offense to get him the intricate series of screens he lived off of for years to get him those threes. Miller in SA looks like Glen Rice in LA to me.
Reggie SUCKS! The only reason Kori likes him is becuase he is a UCLA grad.
That's not the only reason I like him Tlong. That's just one of them. Reggie is old now but could be a contributor off the bench for someone next season.
Reggie is old now and will be older next season.
I don't think he would be happy with the minutes he would get on the Spurs. He would be a cool pickup if we weren't allready so deep, or he didn't care about sitting the bench all season.
