Chet going to the playoffs this year. OKC has a million FRPs to ensure Chet and SGA has talent around them for a long time.
Will Wemby's Spurs ever be better than Chet's Thunder? Chet will get significant playoff experience this season which will help his growth as a player.

Probably. But I don't blame Pop for being cautious with him. Which is weird because tanking doesn't help his development as a franchise player.
Case in point: The Process in Philadelphia. Embiid (MVP) and Ben Simmons (former all star) did well in the regular season, but usually chokes in the playoffs.
Will Wemby's fate be the same? Pop is embracing a culture of tanking, just like The Process did (with nothing to show for it, despite all the talent they had over the years). Why? Because their best players were taught to be losers.
