That was Vic's last game of his historical rookie season.
Pop announced he won't play vs Detroit
He better get going on those triceps push downs then!

Bummer. At least he went out with a magical performance.
Maybe we have do have a shot at losing to Detroit then? (Who am I kidding)
I could see it happening
Detroit beat the Mavs in Dallas yesterday, even without their best players it's still tough to do for the worst team in the league.
Without Wemby to open space for them our guys will strugle
…but let’s put a big next to him at center so that big can get in his way. Sure.

It would be great if someone not as lazy as me would find the Wemby rookie stats prediction thread and bump it
Garland's potential availability is obviously tied to Mitc 's decision and no way the Spurs end up with no 1st in this draft.
100% positive he could average 5 blocks a game in his prime (next year)
Naw. It’ll be like peak Deion Sanders or Reeves Island. Teams just never threw at them. The best corners in the NFL had almost no interceptions n their primes.
This isn't football. You can't just not score in the paint and win games.
In today’s game, you damn near can. Teams are also running more misdirection plays where the guy who penetrates doesn’t taken the shot in the paint. I just can’t see 5 bpg.
Also, 30-35 years ago, people in sports forums would have said “you just can’t win throwing to only one half of the field.”
Next year still not his prime.. normaly a player prime is at age 24-30. So we still have 4 to 5 more years until we see prime wemby.
That's also what I thought but then I realised how Wemby's BBIQ is off the chart already in his rookie season.
He has an amazing ability to bait his opponent, make them think he's out of the play, he keeps his hands down and pretend he's too far behind etc just to jump at the last momment.
He'll keep getting better at it imo. Add all those "alphas" who will want to try him every games in the hope of a poster and I see him averaging +4 blocks easy
It’s definitely the Mitc thing. I think they’d move out of THIS draft for the right trade tho.
"This was probably the most games Victor will ever play in a season. We have professionals like Zach Collins and Branham that need the most floor time due to their professionalism!"
Already up there!
