Good flick. U really cheer for the guy.
I thought Sweetgrass was a really cool do entary.
It's nothing political like most of the do entary recommendations here; just lots of shots of beautiful country in the Absoroka-Beartooth mountains just northeast of Yellowstone. I did a little bit of hiking there last summer and it's spectacular. It has a couple of really funny parts and some of the wide shots taken from up on ridges are amazing. Plus there is no annoying narrator.
Saw "Ink"... an interesting movie. Had some good premises, but the execution was a little off.
Creepy but really enjoyed this film. Definantly has that Guillermo Del Toro feel to it.
Nigh ch
that has one of my all-time fav quotes:
Nick Nolte: "Have you ever been killed before?"
Up Syndrome
It also takes place in San Antonio. It's pretty stellar.Using donated digital tapes and a camera purchased with money earned from an eBay sale, indie filmmaker Duane Graves's critically acclaimed do entary chronicles a year in the life of his childhood friend, Rene Moreno, who has Down Syndrome. After graduating from a high school for special students, Moreno sets out to make his way in the adult world, optimistically battling the prejudices his condition engenders.
Motorcycle Diaries was good.
If you were ever into wrestling/The Big Show I think you'll like this.
I just creamed my pants. One of the greatest shows of all-time coming to netflix.from the netflix blog
"Hi Cindy Holland here, VP content acquisition. I’m excited to tell you we’ve struck a deal with CBS and starting in April, you’ll be able to enjoy episodes of fan favorites like “Medium” and “Flashpoint,” as well as full seasons of the classic series “Cheers,” “Frasier,” “Twin Peaks,” “Family Ties” and “The Andy Griffith Show.” Also available: the original versions of TV greats “Star Trek,” “Twilight Zone” and “Hawaii Five-O.”
This is the first time CBS library programs are available to watch instantly, making Netflix the only online premium subscription service with shows from all four broadcast networks and many of the biggest cable TV outlets. We’re totally committed to bringing a wider selection of great shows and movies to our members and this does just that."
Just watched "Exit Through The Gift Shop". Spurred on some good conversation and was really entertaining. I enjoyed it a lot.
Oh my god. My parents are going to own netflix for about a week to watch all of that show. It's one of the first shows I remember them watching when I was little.
Now them's the kind of potatoes I was hoping I'd hear. You're darn right I'm still with us. And I'm gonna stay a long time! I'm right here. Barney Fife in the flesh. It ain't as if you was leaving some young, inexperienced whippersnapper in charge."Hi Cindy Holland here, VP content acquisition. I'll be in the zone.
If you like zombie movies than you will enjoy this movie.
no! that is a garbage ass remake. If you like zombie movies DO NOT watch that.
Watched this yesterday. Good movie.
I skimmed through this thread to see if anyone mentioned this one: The king Of Kong. This movie had me rolling in laughter due to the sheer nerd/geekiness of the characters and their infatuation with games. But then before I knew it I was into the movie big time! Check it out, you'll see what I mean. By the way Steve Mitc is a little biatch!!
True.
I watched Short Circuit over the weekend for the first time in years. Its still funny. Fisher Stevens totally racist stereotypical Indian character is ing hilarious. Had me in tears when he said scrotum. crofl.
David Lynch's Wild At Heart!!
The Secret in Their eyes is now streaming. watch that .
Mosnters
I didn't really like it but some people might want to check it out.
