Even though it won't be a great matchup that gam needs to be opening night. That way the Mavs fans will be pumped up as opposed to waiting later in the season when Dallas could be under .500. I think they will miss the playoffs this season.

Training Camp and Pre-Season.

At times it can take longer than preseason and training camp to get used to a new teammate. Look at the Heat's big 3 when they first formed they started out the regular season with a terrible record.
