Not happening. Dirk is staying here.
per wojo
wow.. harden/dirk/howard would be scary
Do it. Should be fun. Team without defense at all.
I don't see it happening tbh... But it could be a short-term solution for a ring in the next 2 years. It worked for the Celtics, but they are paying the price of trading youth for a ring in the era, the same would happen to the Rockets.
Definitely doesnt help the defense but would be an extremely scary team otherwise, even with the thing you rocketfans call a coach
Morey mentioning Dirk just to troll Cuban tbh
For the Rockets, there are two distinct advantages to letting Parsons into restricted free agency now. First, Houston is determined to clear the necessary salary cap space this summer to chase a third maximum contract free agent to join Dwight Howard and James Harden. Houston plans to pursue the major stars who could be available upon opting out of deals, including Miami's LeBron James and Chris Bosh, and New York's Carmelo Anthony, league sources said. Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki is expected to be a target too.
Dirk is going to stay in Dallas till the end.
He is those type that is satisfied with no ring. Since he already won 1 , he will let Cuban manipulate him to stay in Dallas.
If Dirk wants a few more rings he would join TOSB Duncan in San Antonio, if he wants money I'm sure at least 10 teams including the Mavs would outbid the Lockets who're limited to 3m something cap room even with neither Beverley nor Chandler re-signed.
They won't get it but if they do they better get elite defenders at the PG and SF positions.
