Pacers Shopping Dunleavy, Ford
The Pacers are attempting to trade T.J. Ford and Mike Dunleavy, according to sources.
Ford has been on the market for several months, but the news of an attempt to trade Dunleavy is surprising as Jim O'Brien is known to be high on him.

Butler signed for 1 year. If we'd thrown 7.5/3 at him he would've jumped at it, surely, and we'd not be wasting 40mil on a guy who doesn't fit our team and who we now have to play for 3 years as he declines.

I would trade parker and Blair for the two plus their 1st pick this year. gives us atheticim and shooting at the SF . (George and Dunleavy) plus a PG back-up (Ford) to Hil. Gives them the Point guard they need , the PF they need to support Granger ( they don't need SF's)
James Jhonson looks to be very available...if Bulls just want to drop him, could be a good bet to trade them Jerrels and one of Hairston/Gee contracts (depending if we already have an idea about who we prefer of the two). Contracts matches...and Bulls can always decide to waiwe both of them.
That is an interesting idea. He's a long 3/4 tweener with good rebounding, garbage scoring and shot-blocking instincts. He'd be an interesting fit as a 6th big and another option at SF if we want to go big (perish the thought!).
Someone smart will get TJ Ford at a cheap price. That dude is a starter in this league, he gets benched because Indiana is a shady place to play.

House returns to Heat as latest addition
After completing the greatest free-agent coup in NBA history, Miami Heat president Pat Riley continues to surround Dwyane Wade(notes), LeBron James(notes) and Chris Bosh(notes) with strong complementary talent.
The Heat have reached an agreement with 32-year-old guard Eddie House(notes) on a two-year contract for $2.8 million, his agent, Mark Bartelstein, told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday. The second year of the deal is a player option for $1.4 million.
Miami beat out the Chicago Bulls to get House. With a history of clutch shooting that includes multiple big games with the Boston Celtics over the past three years, House will help support Miami’s starry core off the bench.
He also will give the Heat a well-regarded three-point shooter, with 749 treys made in his career at a nearly 40 percent conversion rate.
House played his first three NBA seasons (2000-03) with the Heat before joining eight teams over the next seven years. After playing nearly three seasons for the Celtics, House was traded to the New York Knicks as part of a package for Nate Robinson(notes) during the 2009-10 campaign.
The Heat are still weighing the possibility of signing free agent Tracy McGrady, league sources said.

Jones really should have picked the Spurs, where he'd have been close to, if not a full fledged lock, to be in the rotation. With the Heat, he's now buried and has little chance of being in the rotation.

Warriors Improve Offer To Tolliver, Wolves Still In Picture
Anthony Tolliver expects to sign with the Warriors or Timberwolves.
"I haven't made a decision yet," Tolliver said, "but we're getting there and I hope to have a decision soon.
"Once they have their final (financial) figure and years guaranteed, that's when I plan on making my decision --unless somebody comes in late," he added.
Tolliver said the Warriors' initial contract offers were "really low. I was disappointed."
The Warriors have since improved their offer to Tolliver.

He had decent stats from the looks of it, gotta be careful with looking at players from Golden State though.

The Atlanta Hawks have re-signed center Jason Collins, according to Executive Vice President/General Manager Rick Sund. Per team policy, the financial terms were not disclosed.
“We’re excited to welcome Jason back to the team,” said Hawks head coach Larry Drew. “He’s a veteran presence in the locker room, and adds experienced depth to the frontcourt.
