Another notch in his belt to prove he's better than Kobe and Shaq
That’s kinda what I thought, too. If you watched closely, he wasn’t even on all of the road trips. He’s got three kids, and I don’t ever see him wanting to be a HC, at least not until all of his kids are grown.

Sean would have Globetrotter trick basketballs, Oriental Ladies' Nights at the AT&T, and Bruce Bowen pinatas as halftime. The Spurs would definitely be fun to watch again.
If I had to guess (and I do) I think that's probably pretty much the truth of it. Mostly I just think it's odd that he waited this long to say he's not going for a second year.
Sean has the Tommy Heinsohn gig, doubt he will ever give that up.
I've posted it before, but Roy Rogers could be a candidate to replace Tim. Former player, started his coaching career in Austin, I think he could be the dude.
I just hope it's not Boylen. Don't need him taking over a game and forgetting to put his best players back in games like last time.
I'm on board with Becky as the next coach. Seems like the obvious candidate unless Bill Self rumors reemerge, but those rumors always seemed ridiculous to me.
I think they might be looking at Brett Brown coming back for a stint as assistant coach
No surprise tbh
Duncan was the worst assistant
I know that I'm probably just reading the tea leaves too much now, but could this be a sign Aldridge is on his way out?
TD was a big reason LMA came to the Spurs. And they still work together on a developmental basis.
The Warriors definitely seem to have interest in LaMar, and that would be a good destination to send him if they want to keep him happy...we'll see if it's not just smoke.
So 2021 Finals probably not in the cards?
Reckon Tim will still mentor players and by stepping down he'll be giving someone a pay check he doesn't need.
A female Head Coach would solidify my worry that coaching has become obsolete in today's NBA
God, I miss TD’s antics if you can call them that. Eyes popping out, mouth agape as he pleads his case that the didn’t commit a foul. Besides being a winner, a HOFer and my favorite player all time, I’ll always remember TD as the dude who never committed a foul.
