You're saying the ball is on the way back down from there? Why wouldn't Oden just catch it since it's going to be 3 feet short anyway? It's just barely out of the shooter's hand. It's a block.

You're setting yourself up for major disappointment if you're expecting Oden to show dominance in his first season (especially in the WC). Give him a couple of seasons.

Look out for this on opening night!
For Greg Oden to be on the practice floor?

Shouldn't he be in the AT&T Center?

And I notice you still can't actually see his feet off the ground, thanks to carefully placed teammates. The evidence is piling up that the Blazers drafted damaged goods and are desperate to hide it.

I was gonna look out for this:

TLong who's your favorite Blazer of all time? I'll assume it's Drexler you think Oden will surpass Drexler by winning an NBA championship? IMO He's gonna leave after a couple of years with the Blazers or get into some legal trouble.

Drexler is my favorite, followed closely by Maurice Lucas. Oden ain't going anywhere.

If you are gonna base it on 'ships.....why not Bill Walton....at least he won one for Portland.

I'll always remember him as a Celtic, I'm too young to remember him as a Blazer.

    Yao's a 5, Tim's a 4. good night.
Tim plays a lot of center -- and there's little doubt that Tim Duncan qualifies as a "big man" in today's game. Saying that Yao is the best big man in the game, in that sense, is ridiculous -- not that Yao isn't good; but Tim is better.
