It's easier to find. If you look at most of the top perimeter defenders, they range from mid 1st to undrafted. This team desperately needs positive impact players and needs to stop outsmarting itself or believing in their own hype by continuing to draft a high bust rate archetype of guard who...

Celtics fans also count titles when the league was onl 6 teams and full of accountants and plumbers. Celtics are tied with the Spurs with 5 titles since the Merger, only the Bulls (6) and Lakers (11) have more. The Celtics only have 1 title since 1990 and are generally an overrated historical...

I think the idea of Cade being a PG was probably misguided from the start. While a 6'6" PG is a modern NBA fan's wet dream, Cade actually had a negative AST:TO in college and given his good 3 point shooting and wing-sized dimensions, probably should have been used as a secondary playmaking wing / 2...

I would have considered it their greatest achievement to date, just like I consider the Spurs greatest to be dethroning the Lakers in '03 and beating the Thunder in '14. The thing with championships is, when you luck into an all time great player and have a decent enough team around them,...

I wouldn't be mad if we pick Castle cause he has a high floor, but I see him as a back up wing. If he plays PG we'll run a very stagnant offense with teams packing the paint cause neither him nor Sochan can shoot well enough.

It would be based solely on having the ability to take any wing they wanted, before the Spurs. If DET wants Buzelis and don't think the Spurs will take him - then there is no need to do this deal. But if the Spurs are a perceived risk, then this makes a lot of sense and probably won't cost much.

Nah, this organization is the most predictable one because they have set archetypes and characteristics they seek and don't deviate, so when we hear names like Castle and Salaun, it's predictable and typical. When we hear names like Topic and Dillingham, the former is people stereotyping and the...

So if the Nuggets had won game 7 against the T-wolves and then lost to Dallas in the conference finals, you would've rated that higher than them going 16-4 in last year's playoffs and winning a ring? I find that hard to believe. I get the whole context & nuance angle, and that's lots of fun to talk...

The very first invasion of Iraq was in our interest. Sadam did not need to have Kuwait or Saudi Arabia. And he was denied. Staying in any of these places presents the real problem. Especially trying to help control population centers.

:lmao If the only change to the guard rotation is replacing Wesley with Castle. I don't think it'll matter because I don't see the Spurs having interest in Dillingham (or to a lesser extent Topic), but I've been saying this. The Pistons will be hiring a new POBO, Cunningham's size gives...

Of the teams 5-7, I do think DET is the biggest threat to take a PG. Cade/Ivey/Dillingham would actually be a pretty nifty three man rotation at guard as I think all three work in any combination with the others. I just don't see it with CHA, and in POR I don't either unless they decide on moving...

Easy 5+ DPOYs if voter fatigue doesn't kick in. Spurs defense will be terrifying in a few years if PATFO doesn't fuck up. Teams will Wemby will be unbeatable if you cant' shoot very high percentage from deep on high volume.

I doubt it will change anything, but there's literally no way Pop or anyone in the Spurs organization can pretend Victor is an unknown quantity now. No under the radar shit, and if they don't put some players around this kid like right now, they should lose their franchise rights.

The point, for me, is that I'd much rather secure Stephon Castle (in this scenario) than have to pick a Cody Williams or Ron Holland. If all it takes are some SRPs, then absolutely. I'd even think about giving them their FRP back. There's a PR hit there ("The Spurs traded a 2025 first rounder to...

If they draft, I would want Topic and Risacher, but I don't think both would be available. My guess is they draft Dilingham/Topic/Risacher at 4 and Castle/Sheppard/Klingon/Buzelis/Cody Williams at 8, with the starting lineup potentially looking like one of these two: Dilingham/Topic Vassell...
