Look, I know that you an individual and that you don't have some magical knowledge of every time I've had this exact same conversation with other folks. But come on. First, put away your straw man. No, Victor isn't just "a dude". No one said that. No one has to pretend like it was said. Second,...

I'm with Mr. Body and Chinook on this. Sheppard is probably AT LEAST ok-ish to good pretty much all accross the board, with shooting and iq being off the charts. But I fear he might be oversold on account of being so smart and picky within his role. Like Mr. Body said, it wasn't rare watching...

People are 100-percent drafting Reed for his defense. If he were just a small guard with a shot, he'd be much lower in the draft. He and Dillingham are very different players offensively. None of the scouting I've seen questions if Dillingham can be an NBA point guard. They question Sheppard's PG...

Austin Reaves is 6'5 with a 6'6 wingspan Sheppard is 6'3 with a 6'3 wingspan (at best bc datas from schools aren't reliable) I like his shooting a lot but worry about his physical limitations even if he has shown a good defensive IQ

In that scenario, Murray makes the most sense He offers the most assurances about integration to the system, culture and coaching His contract is a lot more attactive than Trae's His defensive ceiling is a lot higher For all the criticism regarding his immaturity, one could imagine him...

When talking about Reed Sheppard, I think about Austin Reaves, and how people on this board were salivating about trying to sign him for like 20 million last summer. It didn't happen last year but we could have a chance to draft a Reaves-like player this year. I'd go for it. If he didn't...

Until I see a guard palming the ball and doing mid-air adjustments like MJ did, noone is a worthy comparison. Nephew was the closest thing to old man MJ, tbh.

Wemby, Devin and two elite 3-D wings? I'm taking Trae. Wemby, Devin and two average defenders? I'm taking DJ. Honestly, I'd take either one, I'd even take D'Lo over having a rookie starting point guard next season since all of them are fundamentally flawed and will take some time to develop.

I’m for getting greedy. It’s a good problem to get the number 1 pick. Plus playing with Wemby, like playing with any great players in the past, would rub off and make players work extra hard, play better. So Sarr or anyone would have better chance of living up to the standard. No comparison to...

If you pick Sarr then you’d have to select Dillingham. The reason why it works for the Timberwolves is because of their efficient 3 point shooting. Wembanyama would need to consistently shoot at least 40%.

I don’t have a problem with Sarr but the assumption was he was gone when we picked. Tankathon mocks almost always give us Sheppard, even at 6 or later. Dillingham was usually going sooner, though I’m not entirely convinced he’s a PG. Board may have changed, Sheppard is now 4th. Most common...

Yeah, pretty much. Those top salary slots get really nasty before long. Plus we have like six potential lottery picks coming up. Handling all this salary is going to be a massive issue before long. No player in this draft is worth a top 4 pick. Controlling costs is going to become tremendously...

There's been some talk about him and I have him in my clutch of five or so players I like. But he had a bad year at Ignite. His shooting was awful and there are questions of what else he can do. Defense is fairly stiff, if he's a good weak-side shotblocker. He moves well for his size. Doesn't seem...

He definitely had great hands, got deflections and steals. In certain circumstances he's extremely good, blowing up transition and sometimes on...
