Knecht is NBA ready now and would be a fantastic guy off the bench,
Dillingham has to be the guy, he’s THE point guard to allow you to go all in on a wing. Fantastic result.
When was the last year that the worst team got the best pick ? Seems like its been a while. Sucks if you're Detroit and move from like the worst or 2nd worst, to the number 5 pick. Sucks for Detroit , good for us even if we just moved up 1 spot.
It's most definitely going to be a point guard and a wing.
PG: Topic or Dillingham.
Wing: Risacher, Holland, Williams or Buzelis.
I didn't watch any of these players in detail, but I'd say Risacher and Dillingham would be ideal.
Topic will get to the rim in any league. And since coming back from his injury (or whatever) he's 4-5 from three.
They're all high risk.
Topic's floor isn't China, it's (at the very, very worst) Beno.
His ceiling is high.
Pretty great result for us. As said, I wasn't enamored with the top 3 picks. Getting the TOR pick is nice gravy. We need the help and there will be a good player there.
ATL - I'm not too bothered by them getting Sarr (maybe). If anything, the pick may make them think they can stay pat, which...
Possible trade-up candidate: Risacher (at 2)
Most likely candidates at 4: Dillingham, Topic
Possible candidates at 4: Sheppard, Castle
Most likely candidates at 8: Salaun, Williams
Possible candidates at 8: Buzelis, Holland
Spurs were rumored to be high on Amen Thompson. Might be a trade possibility there if Detroit wants a player at 4.
Spurs options are off the charts this draft.
If the Spurs keep both picks, they will get 2 of the top 8 players. That's the best outcome in this draft that I could foresee.
...
I was thinking the same thing as most of these picks are going to be in G League for the majority of there first year so no impact on current teams. I am pretty sure that next year lotto will be very similar to this one barring the Atlanta crazily getting the first pick...

...and otherwise wherever man dwells.
(We) just don't like it when another country does it to us. (We) only want to do it to them and then snicker to our heart's content.
I'm definitely going to be cranking out some more scenarios in the Ideal Off-Season thread now that we know the picks :lol
But very quickly, in your scenario above, assuming we draft PG and SF. We could still have money to go after Malik Monk for that backup SG/6th man role. Jeremy would still...
